Description

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, your duties will include overseeing behavioral services by supporting and training the clinical team assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities- Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BCBAs are responsible for managing their caseload which includes supervision of case supervisors and direct care staff
  • Conduct initial assessments and/or support case supervisor with feedback with initial assessment
  • Complete reassessment, discharge and transfer reports and/or support case supervisor with feedback and/ or make any edits needed
  • BCBAs are responsible for providing support to the case supervisor and overseeing caregiving training on a regular basics and/or conducting caregiving training.
  • Checking in regularly with their case supervisors to provide feedback and clinical support
  • Review, provide feedback and approve: treatment targets, Behavior Support Plans developed by the case supervisor
  • Analyze data and provide feedback for the case supervisor to make any modifications to the individualized ABA program targets and edit as needed.
  • Develop treatment targets and Behavior Support Plans for cases with no case supervisor.
  • Review all targets inputted into the data collection system by case supervisor and ensure clear teaching instructions added for each target and/or input targets to the data collection system from report or assessment.
  • Attend team meetings scheduled with the clinical team for caseload.
  • Providing regular overlaps with Case Supervisor and Behavior Therapist to train and provide clinical support such as feedback and modeling target implementation if needed.
  • The BCBA s responsible for regularly reviewing Case supervisors and Behavior therapist session notes and providing feedback and examples of correct implementation.
  • Maintain all updated information regarding caseload
  • Attend all meetings and of training as needed
  • Complete additional admin task that are required for role or requested by supervisor
  • Ensure that all client authorizations hours assigned are met unless discussed barriers prior with supervisor
  • Maintain at least 130 billable hours per month for full time/ part time hours a minimum of 80 hours per month required
  • no max on hours after required hours met each month
  • Respond to all communication within 1 business day.

Qualifications & Physical requirements

  • Certified by the Behavior Analysts Certification Board (min of MA/MS in psychology, education, or related field)
  • Must have open availability for full time
  • Minimum of 1 year direct experience and program development in the ABA field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Minimum of 1 year of ABA supervising experience
  • Prior experience working as a Behavior Therapist and mid-level
  • Maintain compliance standards set forth by the BACB.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Central Reach (preferred)
  • Experience with various assessments tools
  • Be able to speak in a manner easily understood, be capable of driving a motor vehicle regularly
  • Must be able to receive detailed information through oral and written communication.
  • Exhibit manual dexterity to regularly enter data into a computer/tablet/phone; regularly use a computer/tablet/phone to view electronic screens.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Specific auditory abilities required by this job include perceiving the nature of sounds at normal to below normal speaking levels with or without correction, ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discrimination in sound, spatial awareness of sounds and speech at a variety of volume levels, often in background noise.
  • Must have a valid identification
  • Must pass a criminal background check (Clean DOJ/FBI record).
  • Must have or be able to acquire First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Must pass TB test, and have up-to-date immunization record (per company requirements).
  • Being Bilingual is a plus receiving additional compensation

Hi-5 ABA offices lead close-knit teams of BCBAs, BCaBAs, Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they work together to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and families in their local communities.

The mission of the BCBA is to diligently provide ABA services to clients with autism or related special needs in order for the clients to achieve mastery of behavior treatment goals. The position requires compassion, integrity, organization skill, a firm grasp of ABA, and professionalism.

Hi-5 ABA BCBAs provide supervision and training for Technicians interested in becoming certified. This position often has flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and involves high levels of interaction with the client, the client’s family, other Technicians, and your BCBA peers.

You are required to have, at minimum, a BCBA certification (and license if applicable in your state). Adult and Pediatric CPR/BLS is required to be with clients one-on-one. We also require multiple background checks and a TB screening to ensure the safety of clients. Additional educational requirements may apply for Medicaid/Humana service providers.
